Will Angeles playing against type

PAGILAS, Philippines - After several successful musical shows onstage via Gantimpala and Peta theater, television appearances in Rubi on ABS CBN (Angelica Panganiban) and Babaeng Hampaslupa on ABC (Alex Gonzaga), Will Angeles will return to the big screen in the suspense-thriller film 'Offense'. The movie is written, produced and directed by Julius Roden under Pagilas Pictures.

The actor's last film was 'Emir' in 2010.

Julius Roden met with Will Angeles and discussed the story of the film early this year and the latter liked it.

During an interview with the broadway star who played Alladin in Florante At Laura, he enumerated all the roles he played on television.

I've always been the good guy or with the good guys. And I just thought I was gonna be stereotyped as that. Then I got a call from Julius Roden. He said he wanted to work with me in this film and I thought the character was far different from my previous roles, which were more into dramatic encounters and stuff. But with this one, it's playing against type. I've never played this character before that's why I'm really excited. Will explained.

What character are you playing in this film?

You know, I'm not allowed to talk so much details about the film. I can't spoil the story but all I can say is that I'm a dirty cop. he added a little bit more.

When is this film coming out?

It's a Halloween presentation in 2011. And it's a must see movie for all women in the whole world. he smiled sincerely.
