Philipp Dunkel talks about his music, movies and cybervision

PAGILAS, Philippines - All About Adam star Philipp Dunkel is definitely happy about the steadiness of his career in Pagilas despite of the delayed airing of All About Adam season one.

There are so many blessings coming his way. The debut album of United by Fate release this year, concert gigs, upcoming movies and endorsements. As a matter of fact, he and his All About Adam co-star Karlo Manalo are endorsing a brand new shampoo and conditioner for men coming out in 2011.

All About Adam may not make it to conventional television in the Philippines but it will surely make its way to cybervision - which is by the way the future of television and Dunkel believes in Roden's work.


Dunkel told us that he will always be devoted to underground music and independent filmmakers. He added that ten years from now, he may no longer make movies, who knows what the future holds, but he would still want to keep his band United by Fate.

It's not music that brought him and his bandmates altogether, but rather it's their unity that makes it up for music.

When asked about his love life, the 22-year-old Filipino-German artist keeps his mum. He prefers not talking about it. That he is fully aware of being a public property when you are in this industry but there are still stuff that you have full power to control over and make it private as it should be, he shared with us.

Moreover, the fans have been extremely supportive, should we add all the way if it doesn't become redundant?

According to our insider, producer Julius Roden will never allow any tv network to mess up with his creation by having the cast changed or its integrity humiliated reaching some other audience with its message massively distorted.

The All About Adam creator, producer, writer and director said he used to get worried about the fans waiting for the airing of season one. But if it's meant to happen, things will always fall into place.

It is now absolutely part of history in Philippine Television that All About Adam movie pilot aggressively and bravely proved that stereotype Filipino tv shows can be just the way it is but it doesn't stop, particularly, Julius Roden from expanding, innovating and thinking outside the box.

The good start happened in 2010 when IBC 13 aired its movie pilot topbilled by Migui Moreno, Philipp Dunkel, Jeffrey Canlas and Michael Ignacio.

Fortunately, technology has its evolution and this has certainly opened convenient venues for movie producers.

In the meantime, Philipp Dunkel is getting ready for his movie Analysis Overload with Aimee dela Pena. Written, produced and directed by Julius Roden under Pagilas Pictures.

Ayuda Force gives full force to Migui Moreno's solo album

PAGILAS, Philippines – In spite of Cy-Vision Records not fully disclosing details of Migui Moreno’s solo album for his comeback in the music scene, Pagilas Insider Derek Dean has gathered tidbits of information.

It was mentioned in Derek Dean’s Caralibro portal that Cy-Vision CEO Julius Roden finally got a return call from the guitarist of the happy metal chuva kikay core rock band Ayuda Force – Monchie Monch, giving the collaboration with Migui Moreno a nod.

However, it is known in the Underground Music Industry that Ayuda Force is a pop rock band. As a matter of fact, the band’s hit song ‘Emily Romance’ is all over cyberspace. Not to mention its nomination in the 2011 World Music and Independent Film Festival.

The question is that ‘Is Migui Moreno trying to follow the footsteps of his fellow Adam – Philipp Dunkel?’

Moreno’s fans have been tweeting nonstop regarding his comeback in the music scene and having rock songs in his album doesn’t seem to fit his image. Moreover, one female fan opined that should their idol return with a solo album after his long hiatus from Idolzone, it better be ballad.

Pagilas Insider tried to get confirmation from Julius Roden if the rumors were true but the Pagilas producer keeps mum.

According to some sources, Moreno’s solo album is definitely not mimicking Philipp Dunkel’s genre in the music scene.

It was reported last year that Migui Moreno and Philipp Dunkel had some differences on the set of All About Adam.

During their presscon with TV5 in 2010, both actors denied it even though it was obvious there was really something going on since the two Adam stars were never seated next to each other.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Ayuda Force guitarist Monchie Monch spoke with Julius Roden about the collaboration for Migui Moreno’s songs.

We just have to wait and see if Migui Moreno’s solo album will have heavy metal rock songs in it. Because if it will, this will surely be a major flop and not good for his comeback in the music scene.

Migui Moreno to serenade his fans once again

PAGILAS, Philippines -Former member of the 90′s OPM boy band – Migui Moreno, is returning with a solo album under C-Vision records. Despite of being hailed as one of the sexiest men in Pagilas in 2010 and 2011, Migui Moreno remains humble and magnanimous in all endeavor.

During his Idolzone days, OPM dominated the airwaves and everything was way different back then. He was the main vocal of the group and fans just couldn’t get enough of them. It was also the time when he was paired with Meryl Soriano in many local movies under Regal Films and OctoArts Films.

However, when Pagilas producer Julius Roden cast Migui Moreno as the main star of All About Adam, a smash hit television movie aired on IBC in 2010, the big change on this latest phase of his career has been unstoppable.

Migui Moreno has become a sex symbol after portraying the tomcat character Paulo Morales in All About Adam. Not only that, having worked with great directors like Soxie Topacio and Tony Espejo in New Yorker in Tondo, The Martyr of Golgota, El Filibusterismo and Florante y Laura and other several stage plays in Gantimpala Theater and PETA Theater, made him one of the finest actors in this era.

Fans no longer see him as the cute boy-next-door with his band mates singing pop ballad and making teenage girls go gaga whenever they have concerts and tours.

According to our sources, Migui Moreno’s music in his new CD is way different from Idolzone. It’s more of being the man he has become. It’s very solemn yet wild and exciting.

His manager Carliza Africa couldn’t be happier since producer Julius Roden believes in Moreno so much.

Fans can hardly wait and it seems like there is a major party coming right up and Migui Moreno is absolutely back in the game.

Dillan Valitz feels a sigh of relief as Pagilas sends its apology to Jerepee Azul

PAGILAS, Philippines – The female lead vocal of Cold Portrait – Dillan Valitz thought there was going to be a big problem between Pagilas and Jerepee Azul of J-Azul Pilipinas Production. It happened last week when one writer from Pagilas posted a featured article for Dillan Valitz with the singer’s photo taken by Azul and yet the signature mark of J-Azul Pilipinas Production was nowhere to be found on every corner of the image.

Other photographers who are friends with Azul read the story and noticed the picture being used on the said featured article. However, when they found out that the signature mark was somehow erased digitally, they immediately reported the situation to the authority.

J-Azul Pilipinas Production called Valitz to fix the mess. The cheerful make-up tutorial host on cyberspace told her Caralibro portal to reach the staff of Pagilas and do something about it. The young artist, who is also a fourth year nursing student, got worried since she didn’t want to cause any problem at all.

A representative from J-Azul Pilipinas Production opined it was very disrespectful of them to simply remove the signature mark of the company without even thinking about the consequences or how the artist would feel as a human being. They thought it was very rude and that other photographers would’ve agreed and felt the same way.

Furthermore, these artists work so hard, rain or shine, just to come up with beautiful photos despite of the fact that they don’t charge a lot including their models so to speak. Even if they are sleepless, hungry and all that, they do their job professionally. And having their photographs used by some bloggers without permission, the least credit that they definitely deserve is to let the public acknowledge their names. Removing their signature mark on their photos is total humiliation and disrespect.

Photographers connected to Jerepee Azul spoke up their minds.

However, Pagilas took damage control and fixed the mess right away.

The original image of Dillan Valitz with the signature mark of J-Azul Pilipinas Production had been uploaded with photographer Jerepee Azul’s name credited next to it.

There is no excuse for what had happened. The best thing to do is to fix the problem, acknowledge the photographer and continue vibrating that ecstatic positive energy.

Pagilas sends out its public apology to Jerepee Azul and to all the wonderful people in J-Azul Pilipinas Production.

Because of this, Cold Portrait’s Dillan Valitz couldn’t be happier.

Although Dillan writes songs for her band Cold Portrait, the sweet and sassy young lady  covers songs, makes a video for it and have her followers enjoy watching it on Cold Portrait’s official YouTube channel.
